"CONVERSATIONS ON PLANNING FOR THE NEW NORMAL"
The Covid-19 pandemic had necessitated the imposition of numerous restrictions on many areas of our lives during the Circuit Breaker period for health and safety reasons. It has impacted on the way we all live, work, produce, learn, commute, connect, worship, recreate, play or entertain ourselves. The questions on many people's minds are: "Will we ever return to the way we live and function in pre-Covid-19 times? Or will we enter into a new era of the 'New Normal'?"
This event has been organized to allow us in the planning and allied professions to have conversations with each other on the topic. It will be an opportunity for you to discuss with fellow planners and allied professionals on how the 'New Normal' will affect the way we plan our future towns and cities. Will we need to re-think our current planning concepts or planning parameters? Our team of experienced Urban Planners will help facilitate the breakout room discussions with you.
If you are a policy advisor, physical planner, urban designer, transport planner, social scientist, environmentalist, infrastructure planner, real estate analyst or in the planning academia, we need to hear from you.
During the session, you will also get to hear from our guest speaker, Mr Karmjit Singh, on the impact of Covid-19 on our Food Supply Chain Logistics.
